Privacy Policy

Effective October 17, 2026

In short: your data stays on your Apple Watch and iPhone. We don’t run servers, don’t collect, sell or share your data, and the app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking.

Watch Your Fit is a workout log for Apple Watch with a companion iPhone app. This policy explains what data the app works with, where it is kept and how you control it.

1. Who we are

The app is developed by Aleksandr Teriushov, an individual developer. Contact: support@plovsoft.com.

2. Data stored on your devices

The app keeps the following in its local storage on your Apple Watch and iPhone:

This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server and no account system, so we can’t see your data.

Where the law requires it — for example in Texas — the iPhone app asks Apple for your age range (such as “18 or older”). Apple shares only the range; the app doesn’t store it, doesn’t send it anywhere and uses it only to meet that requirement.

3. Apple Health

With your permission the app reads from Health:

The app saves your strength and cardio workouts from Apple Watch to Health.

Health data is used only to provide these features inside the app. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold and never shared with third parties. The app doesn’t upload Health data anywhere; Apple may sync Health between your own devices according to your Health and iCloud settings.

You choose what to allow when the app asks, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health on iPhone.

4. Location

Apple Watch uses your location only during an outdoor walk, run or ride, to measure distance and pace, and only while the app is in use. The route is not saved. Location is not stored by the app and is not sent anywhere.

5. Sync between Apple Watch and iPhone

Workouts move from Apple Watch to iPhone, and your profile, programs and subscription status move from iPhone to Apple Watch. The transfer goes directly between your paired devices using Apple’s system service, without any server of ours.

6. Subscription

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We don’t receive your payment details. The app checks whether your subscription is active on the device using Apple’s StoreKit. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

7. What we don’t do

Because nothing tracks you across apps or websites, the app and these pages don’t change their behavior in response to Do Not Track signals — there is no tracking to turn off.

8. Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to reply to you — that is the purpose and the basis of this processing — don’t share them with anyone and delete them on request.

9. Backups

On iPhone, the app’s data is included in your iCloud Backup or computer backup if you have turned them on; Apple manages these backups according to your settings. The Apple Watch backup to iPhone keeps third-party app settings but not their data, so workouts are preserved through iPhone once they have synced to it.

You can also save a backup file of the app’s data on iPhone: Profile → Backup. The file is saved where you choose, such as Files or iCloud Drive, and stays under your control; we don’t receive it.

10. Deleting your data

11. Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, privacy laws — for example the UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD or US state laws — may give you the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority.

The app’s data stays on your devices, so you can view, change and delete it yourself in the app and in Health. The only personal data we may hold is your correspondence with support; to request a copy or deletion, write to support@plovsoft.com. We don’t sell personal data, don’t use it for targeted advertising and don’t make automated decisions about you.

12. Consumer health data under US state laws

Laws such as Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law protect health-related information. We don’t receive, share or sell consumer health data: the app processes health and fitness information only on your devices, and we have no access to it. If you include health information in an email to support, we use it only to answer you and delete it on request.

13. Children

The app is not directed to children. It doesn’t collect personal data from anyone, including children.

14. This website

These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes — see the GitHub Privacy Statement. The pages themselves use no cookies, analytics or third-party resources.

15. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll publish the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change affects what happens to your data, we’ll also mention it in the app’s release notes.
